Dr. Yadira E. Bayona Salcedo, MDPediatrician | Founder
Dr. Yadira E. Bayona Salcedo is a dedicated and compassionate pediatrician with decades of experience caring for children and adolescents. She earned her medical degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, and completed her pediatric residency at Miami Children’s Hospital in 1999.
Since completing her training, Dr. Salcedo has devoted her career to providing comprehensive, high-quality pediatric care for patients from infancy through adolescence and young adulthood. In January 2005, she founded Kids Care of Central Florida with the vision of creating a warm, family-centered practice where children feel safe, supported, and well cared for.
Dr. Salcedo’s medical philosophy is rooted in compassion, understanding, and evidence-based care. She believes in treating the whole child not just illness by supporting physical health, emotional well-being, and healthy development at every stage of growth. She partners closely with families to ensure they feel informed, confident, and supported in their child’s care.
